As with anything of this type, it's worth testing out before you buy. The problem is after being uploaded by this tool, it remain opened So, my question is : How to. New antivirus programs are always a little risky, but Rising Antivirus seems reliable. Im making a batch file to download the virustotal uploader tool in order to upload a suspect file. Any new program of this type takes time to build a reputation of trustworthiness, but so far Rising Antivirus looks good. VirusTotals Windows Uploader was an application that integrates into the Explorers (right-click) contextual menu, listed under Send To > Virus Total. Overall Rising Antivirus seems like a good security application, and is definitely worth trying out. Virus Total Scanner analyzes suspicious files with more than 40 well-known antivirus engines, using the VirusTotal web service. You can simply right click on your file and start the scan. You can schedule specific scans of drives or folders, to occur whenever you want, and they are really easy to set up. It comes with attractive & user friendly interface making the VirusTotal scanning process simpler and quicker. It also uses little resources while inactive, and doesn't noticeably slow Windows startup times. Rising Antivirus' umbrella icon sits in your system tray, but otherwise you would hardly notice it was there. It is a nice and quiet application most of the time, with out the needless warnings and pop ups of some of its competitors. There's a fair amount of flexibility in Rising Antivirus - the settings are quite comprehensive, so you can run your antivirus checks and scans as automatically as you wish.
